The University of California Educational Research Center (UCERC) was established in 1994 to support educational research and development activities in the San Joaquin Valley region and to act as a complement to the University of California, Davis/California State University, Fresno Joint Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership.
The Joint Doctoral Program--a collaboration between the University of California and CSU Fresno--is the only public doctoral program in the San Joaquin Valley. JDPEL students and graduates form a diverse network of professional educators that serve as a dynamic intellectual resource for the San Joaquin Valley.
