Collaborative Research and Service

UCERC provides a wide array of research assistance including:

Teacher Research:

Assisting Teachers in the design, development, conduct, and reporting of inquiries into effective classroom practices and teacher development.

Classroom or Field-Based Inquiries:

UCERC facilitates consultation with teachers, administrators, and others in the education community in the conduct of inquiries of interest to the collaborating teachers, students, administrators and parents.

Classroom Research:

UCERC staff and affiliated faculty assist teachers in their inquiries into best practice in the classroom and strategies for addressing the benefits and implications of changes in teaching practice.

General Research and Evaluation:

UCERC staff and affiliated faculty design and develop evaluation procedures to assess the outcomes resulting from curricular and program improvements in schools. Evaluation and research designs employ both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
